The Power Team - Engines & Transmissions
Power is an image Camaro has always projected. The 2010 Camaro will feature the
highest horsepower Small-block V8 ever to lie under the hood and it's V6 will have
nearly as much horsepower as the 2002 Camaro Z28. The V6 which will power LS and
LT models will be a version of GM's High Feature V6 and will employ Direct Injection,
Variable Valve Timing, and Dual Overhead Camshafts. For SS models, the powerfull
6.2L OHV V8 will be the only available engine.
